Two dead in murder-suicide at UCLA; LAPD says 'campus is now safe' | 01 June 2016 | A campus shooting at UCLA left two men dead Wednesday morning in a murder-suicide that sent thousands of students running for safety and barricading themselves in classrooms, authorities said. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck confirmed that the shooter was one of the two men killed in a small office in a building in the campus's engineering complex…At 12:05 p.m., UCLA officials lifted the lockdown and canceled classes for the remainder of the day. The shooting, which happened just after 10 a.m., prompted a massive response from local and federal law enforcement.
