Is it time to look at your Preparations??? Widespread reports continue to pour in from all over the nation of “glitches” with the food stamp system. It is eight days into the month and large numbers of people still have not received their benefits, and in other instances it is being reported that EBT cards are simply not working correctly. So what in the world is going on here? On downdetector.com there are scores of reports of problems with the EBT system from people all over the nation. Could this simply be another example of government incompetence, or is something else at work here?

Gardens go a long way toward ending food insecurity.
A government big enough to supply everything a poor person needs is also big enough to take away everything a poor person needs.
People must learn to take responsibility for self or their destinies could wind up being at the mercies of others.
Others may not always have enough to take care of the person who refuses to take care of their self.
I have never been able to figure out why one person would think it was another persons responsibility to ‘take care’ of them in the first place.
Or why a person would want another person to take care of them anyway.
To allow a government or person to provide for ones own self needs sure does give away a lot of control people have over their own lives.
Why would people even want to live a life controlled by others?
How’s that fun at all?
Society should take care of their elderly and disabled IMHO.
But able body people are often able to do lots of things to help greatly in the responsibility of taking care of self.
