Black Lives Matter’s DeRay Unironically Calls Mayor Who Led New York Through 9/11 a “Disgrace”

(Before It's News)

If there’s anyone on the planet who we should be listening to less, it’s Black Lives Matter’s lead mascot, DeRay McKesson.

To catch you up on the kind of person that McKesson is, he’s sees racial bias in everything, thinks police are bad, looting is good, and will block you if you try to argue with him…or even if you don’t. So far he’s up to 19,000 people!

This is the same guy who thinks cops should be independently investigated by sources outside of police departments, and I’m sure what he has in mind will be super fair.

Recently, his jimmies were rustled when former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, called Black Lives Matter an “inherently racist” movement. Many may agree with Giuliani, as BLM’s most vocal member have been consistently anti-white. Giuliani, however, explains that a movement only concerned with one kind of skin color is itself a racist movement.

DeRay couldn’t take that lying down, and went on MSNBC to say something that only a dunce would say.

“It is better for the American people and certainly the people of New York City that Giuliani is no longer a public official. His statements remind us that he is both the disgrace of the country and an embarrassment,” said DeRay.

Let’s stop for a moment and appreciate this statement for the unadulterated idiocy that it is. Giuliani lead New York – the largest city in America containing the most diverse gathering of people in the world – through one of the most destructive atrocities this nation has ever witnessed.

To compare, DeRay McKesson holds up fists in photos, and teaches classes about how stealing other people’s things during riots is more of an expression than an actual crime.

He continues on, saying “When we think about Giuliani, he is doing what people are have done for a long time. He is deflecting so that we are not engaged in a conversation about the abuses the police inflict on communities of color time and time again.”

I find it funny that DeRay brings up deflection, as not only does he avoid Giuliani’s point, he doesn’t at all address Giuliani’s efforts to stop crime. Something Giuliani himself addressed in a recent interview.

As reported by Yahoo News…

“I took over the city with 1,924 murders,” said Giuliani, who served as the city’s mayor from 1994 to 2001. “I gave it to Mayor [Mike] Bloomberg with 500-plus murders. Seventy-five percent of the people saved during that time were African-American.”

The former mayor and 2008 Republican presidential candidate criticized Black Lives Matter for focusing on police killings of African-Americans while ignoring black-on-black violence.

“I don’t see what Black Lives Matter is doing for blacks other than isolating them,” Giuliani said. “All it cares about is the police shooting of blacks. It doesn’t care about the 90 percent of blacks that are killed by other blacks. That is a simple fact.”

So on one hand we have an activist who’s never too far from a riot, and on the other we have a man who ran an entire city, cleaned up its crime problem, and lead it through 9/11. While the former talks smack about the latter, the latter is the only one who has produced any positive results due to his action.

If BLM wants to come together with police, and pro-police groups, and begin to heal wounds – as it did in Dallas – it’d do well to leave DeRay behind.
