(Before It's News)

FBI Director James Comey is speaking to the press right now. He opened his statement by saying that the FBI has completed their investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server, that they have “referred the matter to the Department of Justice for a Prosecutive Decision.” He further stated that he had not allowed the Department of Justice to review his statement, and that they have no idea what he is about to say.

He also noted that the investigation was in fact criminal and pertained to whether Clinton or anyone else violated criminal law in terms of improper handling of classified material. According to Comey:

“110 emails in 52 email chains have been determined to have been classified at the time they were sent or received. 8 contained top secret.”

Comey promises that the FBI will be making a recommendation, but he appears to be holding that for the end of his statement.. stay tuned.
