How DARLING: Sean Hannity Flew Newt Gingrich to Donald Trump Veep Meeting on Private Jet
Well ain’t he just the sweetest. Trump’s most adoring love bug, Sean Hannity, stepped up and plunked down this week, according to CNN, dropping a private jet ride for Newt Gingrich so Trump would be able to meet him ahead of his final decision on the Vice Presidential nomination.
Newt Gingrich, a finalist on Donald Trump’s vice presidential shortlist, flew to Indianapolis to meet with Trump on a private jet provided by Fox News host Sean Hannity, two sources with knowledge of the situation told CNN.
The Fox News host flew the former House speaker to Indianapolis early Wednesday morning to meet with the presumptive Republican nominee as he holds late-stage meetings with his VP finalists, the sources said.
There is truly no bridge too far for alleged member of the press Sean Hannity when it comes to his tireless efforts on behalf of his biggest crush.
Tuesday, Newt’s contract with Fox News was terminated citing “conflict of interest” considering Newt’s front-runner status. A silly reason considering how many Fox News “personalities” are simply running nightly campaign commercials for their dear leader. As opposed to news shows, you see. If Sean Hannity doesn’t have a conflict of interest then it boggles the mind to think there’s anyone who does.
Last night, Hannity had guests Laura Ingraham and Herman Cain on to discuss the VP pick, and they spent a good two segments playing “let’s pick our fantasy cabinet” for those would be wise and lend “counsel” and other dramatic, lump-in-your-throat roles in support of Trump. Hannity backed Gingrich for VP. The whole thing was … well it was super weird.
