The Syrian army soldiers and popular forces continued their advances against the militant groups in al-Malaah Farms and forced the terrorists to retreat from their strongholds.
The Syrian soldiers and National Defense Forces, in joint offensives, managed to take back al-Asamat region.
The terrorist groups suffered a heavy death toll and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed in the attacks.
The Syrian warplanes, for their part, pounded the militant groups’ strongholds in the neighborhoods of Bani Zeid and al-Lairamoun in the Northern city of Aleppo.
Also, the militant groups’ defense lines in the small towns of al-Zarbeh and al-Eis in Southern Aleppo and near Anadan in Northern Aleppo were massively bombed by the Syrian army aircraft.
In relevant developments in the province on Friday, over 40 militants have been killed in an intense battle with the Syrian government forces in al-Malaah farms in Northern Aleppo.
“The tiger forces of the Syrian Army troops have played major role in recent battle against the terrorist groups in al-Malaah region inflicting maximum casualties on the terrorists,” the sources said, adding, “Approximately 40 more terrorists were killed in al-Malaah region, which has become a de facto death trap for the terrorist groups.”

Militants from an Al-Qaeda-linked group, Jaysh al-Islam, have shelled a UN humanitarian convoy near Damascus, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Despite the group’s repeated ceasefire violations, the UN rejected Russia’s bid to add it to the terror list.
“Insurgents of the Jaysh al-Islam grouping, which had claimed to belong to the [Syrian] opposition, carried out shelling of the UN humanitarian convoy in [the area of] Eastern Harasta [Damascus province],” the ministry said in a statement.
The driver of a rented vehicle, which was delivering aid, was “severely wounded,” it added.
According to the ministry, the terrorists of Jaysh al-Islam also attacked positions of the Syrian armed forces with mortars in the villages of Arbil and Jaubar.

A quick check spotted no scoundrel media reports – ready to falsely accuse Syrian and Russian forces of attacking civilian targets, virtually always carried out by US-backed terrorists.
Syria’s conflict rages, peaceful resolution unattainable because Washington wants war, another country raped and destroyed, added to its trophy list – remaining unaccountable for genocidal crimes.
According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, US-backed Jaysh al-Islam (Army of Islam) terrorists shelled a UN humanitarian convoy near Damascus – while desperately needed aid was being distributed to area residents.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said Moscow called for the group to be added to the list of other designated terrorist organizations in Syria. Washington and its rogue allies blocked the move.
Jaysh al-Islam and Ahrar ash-Sham are ruthlessly similar to ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and likeminded groups – guilty of daily ceasefire violations and numerous atrocities, including chemical weapons use, serving as imperial foot soldiers.
Russia’s Defense Ministry also said Jaysh al-Islam attacked Syrian military forces with mortars in Arbil and Jaubar villages.
The group is part of a larger Islamic Front coalition – supported by Washington, NATO, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel.
In mid-May, allied Ahrar al-Sham terrorists massacred scores of al-Zara village women and children, took others hostage – confiscating local homes and personal possessions. At the time, Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi called the incident “a heinous crime against the whole world.”
Washington and its rogue allies back these cold-blooded killers, providing them with arms, munitions and other material support – atrocities repeated on a regular basis.
US-supported terrorists attacking humanitarian convoys isn’t new, nor raiding them to steal what’s intended for desperate Syrians in need.
Yet these groups aren’t included among Security Council-designated terrorists because Washington and its rogue allies supports them.
While attempting to destroy Syria, slaughter it people and oust Assad, they’re included in farcical peace talks, dead-on-arrival, now suspended, certain to continue futility if resumed.

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement attacked the al-Nusra Front terrorist group’s military positions in Arsal heights on Saturday.
The al-Nusra Front’s military positions came under Hezbollah’s attacks in Wadi al-Kheil region in Arsal heights.
A large number of Al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed in Arsal region.

In a relevant development in mid-June, the Lebanese Army carried out a new assault against the Syrian Al-Qaeda group, al-Nusra Front, in the Lebanese Arsal region near Syrian border, killing a large number of terrorists during the operation.
According to a Lebanese Army statement, the operation was concentrated on al-Nusra Front’s positions near the Jaroud-Rankous crossing on Lebanese- Syrian border.
The Lebanese Army has recently stepped up its military operations along the Syrian border crossing as part of the army’s new move to halt the spread of militants and weapons into Lebanon, and according to local officials the attempts have proved as effective and produced successful results.

A Kurdish commander of the ISIL terrorist group, notorious for his rapid beheading of people, was killed in a small town on the Southern side of Mosul, security sources announced Saturday.
“Senior commander of the ISIL known as Abu Ayesha Kurdi was killed while carrying out a suicide attack on the Iraqi forces’ positions in Western side of Makhmour,” the sources said.
Abu Ayesha Kurdi is the one who spoke in a video in two languages of Arabic and Kurdi while beheading three Pishmarga fighters in March.
