U.S. Believes Russia Purposefully Bombed Secret U.S. Base In Syria To Force Washington’s Hand
Russia Bombs Secret US/UK Base in Syria

US, NATO and regional rogue state operations in Syria flagrantly breach international law – waging war on a nonbelligerent country without Security Council authorization. Russia alone among major powers operates legally, invited by Damascus to intervene in combatting terrorism. America and rogue allies aid and abet what they claim to oppose – systematically raping and destroying Syria, massacring its people, displacing half the population internally or abroad. According to the Wall Street Journal, “Russian aircraft bombed a remote garrison in southeastern Syria (in June) – a secret base of operations for elite American and British forces.” They were outside the facility when attacked, followed by a second one on a CIA-linked site. Moscow hasn’t commented on the incident. Was it a shot across the bow, along with long-range Russian bombers back in action delivering punishing airstrikes, in response to America obstructing diplomatic conflict resolution?
It wants war, Assad toppled forcefully, and Syria transformed into another US vassal state, an agenda Moscow opposes, including Washington’s support for ISIS and other terrorist groups while feigning opposition. Various rounds of US/Russian talks were futile. Whatever Americans agree to isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Breaches systematically follow.
According to Russia’s DC embassy spokesman, identified as a “Mr. Melnik,” his nation’s “only objective…is fighting terrorism.” Washington supports it. Conflict resolution remains unattainable.
The incident is exhausted
Russian aviation really dealt a blow to the base in Syria, which was used by the American and British military, but the incident is currently settled in June 2016. This was to “Interfax”, said an informed military-diplomatic source in Moscow. “In this respect the Russian side has all the explanations have been given. This was the topic of a videoconference between the Russian and the US military. The reason for the repetition of the debate is not “- said the spokesman, commenting on the air strike, which appeared in the American press. The cause of the incident, according to the source, was the American refusal to provide information about their activities. The United States did not specify the object among the regions where it operates a loyal opposition, in compliance ceasefire. In addition, the source said, the international coalition in advance warned about the preparation of Russian air strikes in the area.
Pentagon way then strongly protested against the actions of the State Department on this issue, which led to the exhaustion of the incident.

Major developments in Syria and Turkey

The Russians had really no option but to accept to work with the USA in Syria. They way in which they did it was very elegant, however: Lavrov and Kerry have agreed to a joint long-term ceasefire whose exact terms are to remain secret, which indicates to me that the Russians forced the US into concessions which the latter don’t want to be made public. How do we know that it was Russian who forced concessions on the USA and not the other way around? Simple – there was no US “leak” to the media and the Russian bombers have resumed their operation with a new intensity. Besides, it is pretty obvious that in Syria at least Moscow holds all the cards now and Kerry has therefore no means to put pressure on Russia even if he wanted to.
But the main development for Syria is still the coup in Turkey.

ISIL Relocates Strongholds in Mosul to Avoid Airstrikes
ISIL terror group started relocating its headquarters in the city of Mosul in Iraq’s Northwestern Nineveh province in a bid to minimize losses in its ranks after the US-led coalition intensified its airstrikes on the city, while the Kurdish Peshmerga forces and Iraqi army troops on Sunday continued their advance in Mosul suburb.
Activists and eyewitnesses in the city of Mosul, main ISIL bastion in Iraq, reported that the militant group has relocated the centers of al-Hisba police, ISIL’ Court, the weapons stores and security headquarters, ARA News reported.
“The group has moved those key departments to other districts of Mosul believed to be safer,” media activist Abdullah al-Malla said.
“ISIL has also relocated its weapons arsenal. The new stores are positioned inside populated neighborhoods that are rarely exposed to airstrikes,” the source reported.
The move comes as an attempt by ISIL to avoid further losses in its ranks, as dozens of its members have been killed recently either under airstrikes by the US-led coalition or under bombardment by the ground troops of the Kurdish Peshmerga and the Iraqi army.
“This procedure by ISIL was expected,” said Raafat al-Zarari, head of Nineveh media center.
“The group has recently suffered heavy losses in manpower and equipment under airstrikes and shelling, especially after several confidential strongholds for the group in Mosul were uncovered and became an easy target for the coalition and its allies,” al-Zarari concluded.
