Even CNN Calls Hillary’s Statements About Her Email Scandal ‘Misleading’ (Video)
Wow! Even CNN is now calling Hillary Clinton’s recent statements about her ongoing email scandal “misleading.” And CNN does so in the very first sentence of this article:
Hillary Clinton on Friday doubled down on recent misleading statements about her use of a private email server at the State Department, even as she acknowledged that she “may have short-circuited” her answers about it.
And in this video clip CNN’s national politics reporter, M. J. Lee reporting on Hillary’s so-called presser at a gathering of black and Hispanic journalists in Washington, D.C., said Clinton did sort of stand by some of the misleading statements that she has recently made about Director Comey’s statements about her public statements about the email server issue:
“Short-circuited?” Balderdash. Hillary just can’t help herself. She is a serial liar. All week long Hillary and her surrogates have been out there saying misleading statements about her use of her private email serve while she was Secretary State trying to nuance her way out of the things FBI Director Comey said she lied about. Lies Hillary told to the American people.
The main stream media has been calling Clinton out on her continuing lies all week: CNN’s Jake Tapper also did so this afternoon and earlier today and the National Journal’s Ron Fournier did so on Tuesday.
Just be clear during Comey’s July 7, 2016 testimony before the House oversight committee, Rep. Trey Gowdy was actually able to get Comey to say there were six things Hillary said that were not true:
- REP. TREY GOWDY (R), SOUTH CAROLINA: Good morning, Director Comey. Secretary Clinton said she never sent or received any classified information over her private e-mail. Was that true? COMEY: Our investigation found that there was classified information sent…GOWDY: So it was not true?COMEY: That’s what I said.
- GOWDY: OK. Well, I’m looking for a little shorter answer so you and I are not here quite as long. Secretary Clinton said there was nothing marked classified on her e-mails, either sent or received. Was that true? COMEY: That’s not true. There were a small number of portion markings on, I think, three of the documents.
- GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said, I did not e-mail any classified material to anyone on my e-mail, there is no classified material. Was that true?COMEY: There was classified material e-mailed.
- GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said she used just one device. Was that true? COMEY: She used multiple devices during the four years of her term as secretary of state.
- GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said all work-related e-mails were returned to the State Department. Was that true? COMEY: No. We found work-related e-mails, thousands that were not returned.
- GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said her lawyers read every one of the e-mails and were overly inclusive. Did her lawyers read the e-mail content individually? COMEY: No.
Hillary continues to keep this story alive with her inability to stop lying.
