At least 9 killed in terrorist attacks in Aleppo
1,000 Vehicles Cross Turkish Border into Syria, Distribute Aid among ISIL Terrorists
Some 1,000 vehicles carrying foodstuff and medical equipment have crossed Turkey’s border into Northern Syria in the last three days heading towards ISIL-held regions, local sources told Kurdish media.
“At least 1,000 small and large trucks have transferred a large volume of medical equipment and foodstuff among the ISIL terrorists in Northern Syria,” Hawar reported.
“The vehicles entered from Bab al-Hawa border crossing into Western Idlib,” the sources said.
“The convoys of aid cargo were guarded by Turkish and ISIL security forces,” they went on to say.
Turkey is among the main supporters of the militant groups operating in Syria, with reports saying that Ankara actively trains and arms the Takfiri elements there and facilitates their safe passage into the violence-wracked country. Ankara has also been accused of buying smuggled oil from the ISIL.

ISIL Fails to Prevail over Gov’t Positions near Deir Ezzur Airport
Syrian army soldiers repelled ISIL’s offensives on government forces’ positions in the Southern and Eastern sides of Deir Ezzur airport and did not allow the terrorists to advance in the region.
Syrian Army troops, backed up by the Russian and Syrian warplanes, beat ISIL back from surroundings of Deir Ezzur airbase, inflicting a heavy death toll on the militants.
ISIL also stormed Syrian soldiers’ strongholds near al-Thardah mountain by several bomb-laden suicide vehicles, but the Syrian army men targeted them by thermo missiles.
In the meantime, the Syrian army and ISIL hit each other with heavy weapons in al-Thardah 1,2 and 3, ending in withdrawal of ISIL terrorists from the region.
ISIL also failed to break through government positions in al-Jafreh district in Northeastern side of air port.
Russian and Syrian fighter jets played a crucial role in ISIL’s failures in Deir Ezzur battlefields.
ISIL centers in al-Kanamat, al-Sina’ah, al-Roshdiyeh, Takaya, al-Mura’yeh, Huwijeh, Saker, al-Baqaliyeh were badly bombed by the Syrian and Russian fighter jets.
Report said earlier today that ISIL’s gatherings in the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur and its surroundings were massively targeted by the Syrian warplanes and army’s artillery units, military sources said, adding that the terrorists suffered major casualties in the attacks.
ISIL’s strongholds in the neighborhoods of al-Roshdiyeh, al-Hamidiyeh and al-Jebeliyeh and al-Thardah mountain and the village of Ayyash came under the heavy bombardments of the Syrian fighter jets and artillery.
ISIL suffered a heavy death toll and its military hardware sustained major damage in the attacks.

The Kurdish Peshmerga forces continued their rapid advance against the ISIL near Mosul on Sunday, forcing the terrorists to retreat from more regions in Ninevah province.
The Peshmerga forces liberated 4 more vilages near Mosul, including al-Ameriah, Keneshi Saqira, Satih and Homayrah, a few hours after they managed to establish full control over the villages of Shanaf, Takh, Tal Hamid, Qarqasha and Abzakh after heavy battle with the ISIL terrorists.
The Kurdish forces continued their advances in Nineveh province and stormed the strongholds of the ISIL, battlefield sources said, adding that the clashes ended in the killing or wounding of dozens of terrorists.
The Kurdish Peshmerga forces started new operations to seize back more areas near Mosul in Iraq, specially the strategic Nineveh plain.
“The Peshmerga forces started their fresh military offensives against the ISIL terrorists in al-Khazer and al-Kavir regions in Nineveh plain,” the Arabic-language media quoted an unnamed Peshmerga officer as saying on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Iraq’s joint military forces continued their advances in Nineveh province, and seized back four more strategic villages in al-Qayyara region near the city of Mosul on Sunday.
The Iraqi forces are now in full control of the villages of al-Jada’a, Zahiliya, Ajabeh and Javan in al-Qayyara region after killed tens of ISIL terrorists and destroyed their bomb-laden vehicles.
In a relevant development on Saturday, the Iraqi forces took full control of the villages of al-Marir, al-Bazajeleh, Imam Gharbi and al-Tala’eh in al-Qayyara region.
