New York Parks Department Should Win An Award for Their Trump Burn
You’ll all recall the recent media coverage of nude statues of Trump going up around various cities across the nation. The gag inducing artwork is nothing short of disgusting, being only slightly more gross than Kanye West’s nude representation of Trump in his video “Famous.”
The project is called “The Emperor Has No Balls,” and was made by the anarchist group known as “Indecline.”

This PG look at the statue doesn’t reveal the…whole story. I’ll leave you to do that on your own if you’re so inclined. The statue, of course, was not allowed to stand in any city that it was put up in. Something that the sculptor of the statues knew would happen, saying that he didn’t expect the statue to stay up for even 30 to 45 minutes. Safe to say, it didn’t.

Regardless, they were up for enough time for the media to have enough fun with it. Articles went up left and right, jokes on social media were made about the statue’s…assets.
But the media wasn’t the only ones who wanted to comment. One government entity wanted to weigh in with the most professional jab at the statue that it could muster.
Sam Biederman of the New York Parks Department spoke to the Gothamist, and gave them a statement that should win him employee of the month, if not the year.
“NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small,” said Biederman.
Of all the comments made about the statues, New York Parks Department wins with theirs.
