State Department Helps Hillary Hide Her Clinton Foundation Pay to Play Scheme

This week’s Friday night news dump of information the Obama administration wants repressed was more damaging information for Hillary Clinton. Seven months after a federal judge ordered the State Department to release monthly batches of the detailed daily schedules showing meetings by Hillary Clinton during her time as secretary of state, the State Department told The Associated Press it won’t finish the job before Election Day:

The department has so far released about half of the schedules. Its lawyers said in a phone conference with the AP’s lawyers that the department now expects to release the last of the detailed schedules around Dec. 30, weeks before the next president is inaugurated.

Obama’s “most transparent” administration has worked hard to protect hide Hillary by hiding her schedules. According the Associated Press, they have been trying to get these records from the ‘transparent” Obama/Hillary/Kerry State Department for six years:

The AP first asked for Clinton’s calendars in 2010 and again in 2013. It then sued the State Department in federal court to obtain the detailed schedules, and the department so far has provided about half of them under court order.

So why would team Obama/Hillary fight complying with a legitimate Freedom of Information Act request so strenuously? They don’t want the press to connect any more dots concerning about people making donations to the Clinton Foundation if they wanted to meet or speak with Secretary Clinton. The remaining schedules must be even more damaging to Hillary that those already released. Last week the Associated Press reported that “More than half the people outside the government who met with Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state gave money – either personally or through companies or groups – to the Clinton Foundation”:

At least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to a review of State Department calendars released so far to The Associated Press. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.

The remaining schedules must contain even more evidence proving Secretary Clinton sold access to the Secretary of state.

For once Reince Priebus and Donald Trump got it right when they called out Obama’s State Department for trying to protect Hillary from her pay to play scheme:

“Hillary Clinton needs to end the stonewalling and either call for their release or release them herself,” Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement. “Failure to exercise transparency will just further prove she isn’t concerned with telling voters the truth about her unethical behavior, a pattern that will continue if she is elected president.”

Donald Trump’s campaign bashed the news as the latest sign of her ties to the “rigged system.”

“Voters deserve to know the truth before they cast their ballots, but once again the rigged system is rushing to protect Hillary Clinton,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller said in a statement. “Instead of counting on her friends in the Obama administration to shield her from accountability, Hillary Clinton should demand that these public records be released before voting begins.”

Maybe U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon will do the right thing and force the State Department to turn over Hillary’s schedules before the election.
