We Are Just Days Away From An Impeachment Vote!

Sunday, August 21, 2016 6:47

(Before It's News)

As you know, the House Freedom Caucus has filed a privileged motion to impeach Obama's IRS Commissioner John Koskinen. We have covered his crimes in depth, but the most obvious reason for impeachment would be the fact that he lied to Congress, under oath, when he said that Lois Lerner's hard drives were being preserved even though he knew they were already incinerated.

By filing a privileged resolution, the House Leadership must put an issue to a vote within three days time. This resolution was filed on the last day that Congress was in session for the summer recess.

That means that the clock literally starts ticking the minute that the House of Representatives gavels back into session.

This is excellent news, but it also means we are short on time.

Under the house rules, this up or down vote has to happen when Congress goes back into session, whether we have the votes or not!

It is up to YOU!  Send your FaxBlast to Congress and DEMAND they move to impeach IRS Commissioner John Koskinen!

That is why it is so important to keep the pressure on Congress and demand that they move forward with impeachment hearings!

This isn't a partisan issue. It doesn't matter whether someone has an R or a D next to their name. It is a crime to lie to Congress. It is a crime to allow the destruction of evidence after receiving a preservation order. It is a crime to cover up government bureaucrats who targeted people and organizations because of their political beliefs.

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen committed perjury. Period.

Recently, we learned that he might have perjured himself another time when he described the timeline of how the IRS learned about the targeting scandal. Koskinen claimed that the IRS never found evidence of lawlessness however a newly released FBI report shows that there was a criminal investigation and evidence of criminal violations were presented to the IRS.

It is just par for the course. The Obama administration's chief strategy is to lie for as long as possible, until the story leaves the headlines. You saw that in full effect at the State Department, with the administration finally admitting that the $400 million payment to Iran was ransom. If they had admitted to this at the beginning, the fallout would have been ten-times worse.

The Obama administration has literally stalled on the IRS scandal for years. I am sure even seeing this now gives many of our readers the impression of, 'so what?'

Well, a vote is happening. The House rules demand it. Within 48 hours of the House gaveling back into session, there will be a vote on whether to push forward with impeachment proceedings against IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.

None of this would have been possible without your activism. We are here because you and others demanded Congressional action.

But you cannot rest on our laurels. We need to take this across the finish line or else it was all for naught.

We are running out of time. It is literally now or never!

Please, send your FaxBlast to Congress and DEMAND they move to impeach IRS Commissioner John Koskinen!

Sincerely,

Joe Otto
