Poll: Hillary Leads Among Unlikely and Non-Voters
The latest Bloomberg Politics national poll that found Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were tied at 46 percent each among likely voters, also found that unlikely voters and non-voters favor Hillary.
That’s right, the Bloomberg poll actually asked, for the first time, unlikely voters who they would back, if they changed their mind decided to do their civic duty and vote. According to Bloomberg Politics, the results show greater support for Hillary than The Donald — 38 percent to 27 percent. Of course that result comes with a margin of error of plus or minus 5.5 percent.
Bloomberg also noted that the non-voter profile skews toward the Democrats:
Among non-whites, 52 percent are likely voters in the poll, while 48 percent were non-voters. For whites, a group key to Trump’s success, 74 percent of those contacted were likely voters, while 26 percent were classified as non-voters.
The poll was taken Sept. 21-24 and determined likely voters by asking respondents whether they have already voted, will definitely vote, probably vote, might or might not vote or probably not vote. Only those who say they have already voted or will definitely vote were included as likely voters.
As we reported yesterday, the Hillary Campaign is in “full panic mode,” at least with regard to African-Americans in Florida. President Obama also made it crystal clear that Democrats were concerned about African-American turnout during his final keynote address to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, when he said, “I will consider it a personal insult, an insult to my legacy, if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election.”
