Donald Trump publicly praised his supporter and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich in a speech Wednesday for attacking Fox host Megyn Kelly as sex-obsessed during a Tuesday interview.
Trump was in the middle of a discussion of the failures of Obamacare when he suddenly shifted gears and pointed at Gingrich in the audience. “By the way, congratulations, Newt, on last night. That was an amazing interview. That was an amazing interview,” he said to applause.
