Gigi Hadid Opens AMAs By Mocking Melania Trump
”I love my husband, President Barack Obama, and our children, Sasha and Malia,” Gigi Hadid smirked through pierced lips, in her thick attempted (German?) accent, mocking the Melania Trump’s convention speech at the American Music Awards or AMAs.

Twitter responses were fast and furious.
Some on the right were OUTRAGED, that the writers would mock Melania’s accent. Meanwhile I can’t believe they didn’t have jokes that were more recent than August. C’mon man. There were some weak attempts at humor surrounding Donald Trump as well, which isn’t a good sign for Hollywood comedy writers.
The material is already old and Trump hasn’t even taken office yet. To be fair to Gigi, her impression wasn’t bad and probably goes over great at parties. This doesn’t mean it’s good enough for National TV. We have a crisis of bad material in this country. Here’s hoping we find out sense of humor and quick or it’s going to be a long four years.
