(Before It's News)

We are less than a week out from the massive red wave that also gave us President-elect Donald J Trump. The Hollywood liberals have been losing their collective minds ever since.  Seth Meyers, who got his start on Saturday Night Live doing “Fake News” is now over at NBC continuing his schick. This week doing his version of a Vox style explainer on controversial figure Steve Bannon and newly tapped Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus.

Now I could go into great detail questioning why Seth Meyers and others didn’t express this interest when Valerie Jarrett was named to the same position, but why bother? The reality is that most of the entertainment industry has no connection to reality. Intellectual honesty isn’t really their thing. They prefer to make lists and blame others for the failures of Obama, Obamacare and Hillary Clinton, the candidate.

The larger problem is that Seth Meyers and his colleagues in comedy are supposed to be funny. People don’t tune in for a lecture, and Americans are damn tired of it. Not to say the market isn’t saturated with “Fake News” on TV. Because we have already filling that niche, The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee just to name a few. Apparently that isn’t enough “fake news” for the Democrats though, now they want to creep into our late night talk shows. May their ratings fall with every joke.

There is much to be learned from the success of The Late, Late Show with James Corden. Corden and his team have created a fun, entertaining show with features that the audience looks forward to each week, like the extremely popular “Carpool Karaoke”. No lectures, just laughs. Johnny Carson would be proud.
