The three words Mitt Romney needs to say to Donald Trump

Reports suggest that Donald Trump wants an apology from Mitt Romney. RedState’s Jay Caruso hopes for a defiant response.

I think he only needs to say three little words.

Trumper King Steve Bannon may be treating the Breitbart network like his pet these days, but it was originally Andrew Breitbart’s. So I think it’d be fitting if Mitt Romney responded to Trump with some of Breitbart’s last words on Twitter:

Apologize for WHAT? @KRAUSEEE

“Apologize for WHAT?” You never apologize for standing on principle. Besides, it seems very likely that Donald Trump would accept the apology, then give the job of Secretary of State to someone else anyway.

Mitt, don’t give in.
