U.S. soldier fighting ISIS is killed in northern Syria after stepping on an explosive near Raqqa | 24 Nov 2016 | A U.S. soldier has been killed by an explosive device in northern Syria. The serviceman died from wounds he suffered when stepping on an improvised explosive device near the town of Ayn Issa – about 30 miles north of Raqqa. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the death in a statement released on Thursday afternoon.

it’s odd and illegal for a US soldier to be in Syria! Russia is the only foreign country that has the permission of the democratically elected government to be fighting in Syria.
John Kerry unequivocally stated that the US government has no legal basis to be in Syria.
So WHY is the US military in Syria???
