Obama Gun Control Scheme Inches Even Closer in Congress

Obama has less than a month left in office. Like an angry evicted tenant, Obama is intent on trashing the house on his way out. Had Hillary Clinton won, his legacy would have been secured. With Donald Trump entering office in just 28 days, Obama sees the monuments he built for himself starting to crumble.
Every time he is asked the question, the President responds that his biggest regret is not being able to force lasting gun control onto the American people.
Now, he is getting that chance.
After years of wrangling on Capitol Hill, Obama has finally introduced the UN Arms Treaty for consideration in Congress. We are told that he believes the time is right to force a vote on this.
For the last two years, the White House has already been financing this international gun control program without Congressional consent. But now, the President wants to force the treaty’s contents onto the American public!
The UN Arms Trade Treaty regulates everything from pistols to aircraft carriers. Not only does it place significant limitations on how countries import/export weapons, but it forces member states to create a database of gun owners.
In the last 12 months, Americans bought 17,850 TONS of imported ammunition. This is ammunition that people use to train and to defend themselves. In addition to this, hundreds of thousands of firearms were imported as well.
The UN Arms Trade Treaty would shut this down.
But the registry is the biggest danger. From Nazi Germany to the USSR, from modern cases like Australia and the United Kingdom, history has shown that when governments force gun owners to register, that registry is eventually used to confiscate weapons.
Even New Yorkers are starting to get confiscation letters in the mail telling them that their firearm – which they purchased decades ago legally – is no longer legal to own in the city.
When the President nominated Loretta Lynch to be Attorney General, ten Republicans broke rank to vote for her confirmation. Obama just needs a couple more defections and the UN Arms Trade Treaty becomes the law of the land. That is how close he is…
The gun control lobby is terrified. They see Donald Trump as potentially the most pro-gun President in US history. Trump has promised to roll back Obama’s gun control executive orders.
The President sees the writing on the wall. He knows that if he wants to cement his gun control legacy, it will have to be through the United Nations.
The White House has spent the past months heavily lobbying Republicans. They believe the time is right to force a vote on this.
Don’t let Barack Obama force this globalist gun control agenda onto the American people!
