Another Act Drops From Trump’s Inauguration: It May Be Time to Look Elsewhere

(Before It's News)

Another performer has bowed to pressure from the howling victim class and dropped a scheduled performance for President-elect Trump’s inauguration.

This time it is Jennifer Holliday.

“In light of the information pointed out to me via the Daily Beast article on yesterday, my only choice must now be to stand with the LGBT Community and to state unequivocally that I WILL NOT PERFORM FOR THE WELCOME CONCERT OR FOR ANY OF THE INAUGURATION FESTIVITIES!” Holliday wrote in a letter addressed to the LGBT community posted on TheWrap.

Holliday on Friday had defended the decision to sing at the inauguration, telling the Associated Press that she saw the performance as “singing for the people.”

Apparently, they weren’t the “right” people.

Holliday can be added to a growing list of performers who have either dropped or said “no” when asked about performing.

Others who have either dropped or flatly refused are opera singer, Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Charlotte Church, Garth Brooks, a couple of Rockettes, somebody with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir…

While Trump’s people rush to fill the celebration, with less than a week to go, the lineup is looking a bit anemic.

So humor me, a bit.

What do all of these acts have in common?

No, it’s not that they’ve all bowed to the liberal bullies.

No, it’s not that they all suck.

NONE OF THEM ARE HEAVY METAL!

Metal people just get playing in untenable circumstances.

They’d play in a phone booth, if the crowd was there.

And yes, while there are a few “preachy,” liberal showmen in the metal genre, most of them just want to jam.

With that in mind, allow me to make a couple of suggestions.

ICED EARTH:

Amazing band and their founder, Jon Schaffer once owned a shop called The Spirit of ’76.

Want to guess what that was about?

SIGNUM REGIS:

Okay, so they’re not an American act (they’re Slovakian), but neither is Celine Dion, so…

Besides, they possess a more free, patriotic spirit than most of the acts who bailed, and more so than all of the whiners that pressured those acts to drop.

STRYPER:

Well, Michael Sweet. That should be enough.

I literally could turn this into an entire metal festival wish list, given the time and space, but you get my drift.

Seriously, if it is Trump’s goal to shake up the way things are done, maybe he can start with this inauguration kerfuffle and get some acts in that aren’t as easily bullied by liberal pressure.

Somebody get this to Trump’s people.

Don’t ask the pedo mainstream music. Invite professionals that have been in business for 20 years like Heart, The Beach Boys, or, Crystal Gayle. There are a ton of people that keep their gig and have been doing so for years. I’m talking about people that are not controlled by MK-Ultra handlers. You know who they are, you had casinos for Christ’s sakes.
