Guardians of the Galaxy Star on Trump Victory: We Got Cocky, Became Bullies
She gets it.
Zoe Saldana joins Nicole Kidman in asking her friends in Hollywood to accept the nomination of Donald Trump. The Guardians of the Galaxy star, spoke out this week in an interview, according to Yahoo News.
“We got cocky and became arrogant and we also became bullies,” the 38-year-old actress said of Trump.
Now that’s refreshing. Isn’t it? A little self reflection from the Hollywood crowd. I told you, Zoe Saldana really seems to actually get it. She doesn’t support Trump, but is honest enough to look at the situation and see that the insane behavior of the left is not helping their cause.
“We were trying to single out a man for all these things he was doing wrong… and that created empathy in a big group of people in America that felt bad for him and that are believing in his promises.”
Zoe Saldana is right of course, with each snide comment or long winded lecture, the liberal elites push more people to defend Trump. Even people who may not have voted for him, suddenly realize Trump may have been right about the media’s bias in the post-Hillary meltdown.
Unfortunately for Ms. Saldana, she probably won’t find much support for her balanced approach. Nicole Kidman is an A-Lister from way back and that didn’t stop anyone from dragging her through the mud just for suggesting we accept the results of the election and get on with our lives.
Kudos to Zoe Saldana for being a reasonable person, if only more in Hollywood were like her.
