(Before It's News)

I guess they worked out the legalities surrounding nepotism and ethical concerns.

Lawyers have etched out a plan for President-elect Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to serve in the new administration, according to a report.

Mike Allen said in his inaugural Axios AM e-letter early Monday that Kushner will serve as senior adviser. Kushner is reportedly now searching for members of his staff.

The New York Times reported last week that Kushner has been pursuing a real-estate deal with a company that has close ties to China, all while advising his father-in-law during his bid for the White House.

Another big government liberal deep in the president-elect’s ear.

Kushner, as well as Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, have both served as advisers during the Manhattan bully’s candidacy, but the plan after his win, according to Trump, was to divest himself from his interests in his business, leave it to his children, then focus solely on the presidency.

He had promised a press conference to map out those plans, but that conference never came, and instead, news emerged of his inquiries about bringing in his daughter and son-in-law, Kushner, onto staff, as well as news of their house hunt in Washington, D.C.

There was also news of Ivanka Trump sitting in on a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, as well as Trump requesting to have Kushner sit in on daily presidential briefings.

At the time, Trump’s camp denied that he was looking to obtain security clearances for his children, but as is the pattern with Trump, it kind of looks like he lied.
