Trump Team Obsesses Over Reports of Inauguration Crowd Size, Attacks Media – Again
He just can’t help himself, apparently.

While Trump was speaking at CIA headquarters and painting the media as enemies of the state, he had dispatched his press secretary, Sean Spicer, to quibble over the size of the crowd at the inauguration.
You know… because that stuff is really important.
For Trump, it was an attack on two fronts.
The presser was called, and no questions from the media were allowed.
Spicer said of the inauguration crowds:
“This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period,” Spicer said, highlighting the millions of people who watched the inauguration on television and online in addition to those who viewed it from the National Mall. “These attempts to lessen the enthusiasm of the inauguration are shameful and wrong.”
Spicer noted the use of “floor coverings” to protect the grass on the National Mall for the first time had created white spaces that magnified small gaps in the crowd. And he said increased security measures had prevented thousands of revelers from accessing certain viewing sections.
Trump’s obsession with having everything made about him, and pumped up to be the biggest, grandest, and best, in order to protect his ego is not healthy – neither for the nation, or for him. This is only his first full day.
If he can’t be trusted to keep his cool over the small things now – and this is a small thing – he’ll never make it four years without having some kind of breakdown.
