Mike Pence: Trump Administration Supports a Free Press, But Will Continue to “Call Out” The Media
Mike Pence met with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, during his European visit on Monday. During a joint press conference the Vice President attempted to reassure their critics that Donald Trump’s White House was not a threat to a Free Press.
“Rest assured both the president and I strongly support both a free and independent press,” he said, “but you can anticipate that the president and all of us will continue to call out the media when they play fast and loose with the facts.”
The battle between the Trump administration and the Media is far from over. Each day they merely find new ground to fight upon.
