Ben Carson Practically Plagiarizes Obama, Left Still Outraged

(Before It's News)

Amid the numerous articles on Ben Carson’s verbal d*** tripping here, and here, comes this latest little bit:  Obama made practically identical comments in 2012.

Obama’s White House has basically everything he said as President archived on ObamaWhiteHouse.archives.gov including this little tidbit from a New Citizens’ Swearing in Ceremony:

Our American journey, our success, would simply not be possible without the generations of immigrants who have come to our shores from every corner of the globe.  We say it so often, we sometimes forget what it means — we are a nation of immigrants.  Unless you are one of the first Americans, a Native American, we are all descended from folks who came from someplace else — whether they arrived on the Mayflower or on a slave ship, whether they came through Ellis Island or crossed the Rio Grande.

When compared to the words of Carson, it seems pretty similar:

“That’s what America is about. A land of dreams and opportunity,” Carson said. “There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less.”

He added: “But they, too, had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.”

Again, certainly there is some difference in eloquence, but the themes remain the same.  Either one, slaves who came here against their will aboard slave ships are called immigrants by both. The almighty teleprompter-ed one most likely was speaking from script.  It appears that Secretary Carson’s remarks were off the cuff.

Both were absolutely stupid.  To compare someone who comes to the US in the belly of a slave ship to someone whom dreams of American Freedom and a future here in this country?  Not even close.  One is born of fear and despair and the other of hope and growth. Certainly, both can hope for a better future for their children, but a comparison of either is insulting and demeaning to the descendants of those that are here.

Even after it has been revealed that the Obama said practically the same thing, liberals still double down about their anger with Carson.  This isn’t anger about something that was said.  This is anger that they can’t control the narrative, so they throw public temper tantrums at their inability to control it.  They ignore their own flaws to destroy those to whom they are ideologically opposed.   This is looking for a reason to be mad, as opposed to finding something anger-worthy.

Yoga guys….. Try yoga.
