Impeachment Thwarted: Trump Hotel Ruled Not Conflict Of Interest (Video)
It’s laughable the extent that the left will go as they bring up flimsier and flimsier justifications to impeach Trump. The latest word is ‘emolument’, and it is an obscure constitutional provision that prohibits people holding office from accepting any sort of payments from foreign governments. And before you ask, this has nothing to do with the ongoing Russian collusion conspiracy, in this one they claim that because Trump’s hotels and might rent a ballroom to a foreign embassy or rent out office space to a state-controlled Chinese bank that it violates the clause!
In the following video, Right Wing News looks at how the left is fast abandoning all rational reasoning and is now going for the equivalent of frivolous lawsuits to get him out of office. Amongst all the forces already arrayed against Trump, from the Deep State to DC pedophile rings, some of which are even using the nation’s national security apparatus against him, it is almost funny that they would think that something like an Emoluments Clause would bring him down.
Of course, this transparent attempt has already been thwarted by the US General Services Administration – wonder what tactic they will try next?

House Democrats including Representatives Keith Ellison, Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi have all dropped the “I” word since Donald Trump has taken office.

One of the thin reeds upon which the “Impeach Trump” folks have been hanging their hats is the Emoluments Clause in the Constitution.
Article I, section 9:
“No Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or Foreign State.”
Here’s an example of some of the desperation:
Trump has given us 3 separate incredibly valid reasons to eject him in just 60 days: Emoluments. Russian collusion. And mental unfitness.

They argue one way he is violating the clause is because he owns hotels which take in foreign guests.

Even the DNC Vice Chair Rep. Keith Ellison tried to push this argument.
Specifically, they argued that it was improper and/or illegal for Trump to maintain an ownership stake in his Trump Hotel in D.C., which is located in the Old Post Office building.
But looks like that argument just failed.

So the response of some is to smear the GSA, because how dare they find in favor of Trump?
No doubt they will keep trying.
But this is a huge kick in the teeth to something they thought might have been their ‘silver bullet’ to get Trump.
Sorry, guys, how many times will you fail in this effort?
