Is Oprah Pondering a Run Against Trump in 2020? (Video)

(Before It's News)

After Donald Trump won the White House in November, I admitted that it threw off my theory that Kanye West would run in 2020 because he’s (funnily enough) more suited to a Republican candidacy than a Democratic one. Lo and behold, after meeting with then President-elect Trump in Manhattan, Kanye tweeted that he’d be putting off his run until 2024.

This left the speculation open as to who could take on Donald Trump in 2020 on the Democrat side and have the same star power, name recognition and appeal to the blue collar class that flipped states like Pennsylvania, Ohio and Wisconsin red in 2016.

The one person that has been brought up that could rival Trump on every level is rethinking whether she could run for office in the future.

Oprah.

“I actually never considered the question, even a possibility,” she told David Rubenstein of Bloomberg. “I just thought, ‘Oh. Oh!’”

“I thought, oh gee, I don’t have the experience. I don’t know enough. And now I’m thinking, oh!”

This has a lot of people realizing the possibilities of what a Trump/Oprah runoff could look like.

Lord, help us.
