(Before It's News)

I love this so much, I would marry it!

No, seriously. This needed to be said and it needs to be done.

So if you’ve followed any of my writings about North Carolina’s HB2 “bathroom bill” and all the fallout that ensued, when social justice warriors from across the nation and right into President Obama’s vile Department of (social) Justice took aim, you’ll know that among those liberal bullies were the NCAA and the ACC.

The NCAA pulled championships from North Carolina schools – championships earned by the players – and threatened to move games out of the state, if the bathroom bill that prevented men from using the women’s bathrooms and locker rooms wasn’t repealed.

The Atlantic Coast Conference followed suit with the leftist bully tactics.

While the NC General Assembly and then-Governor Pat McCrory were willing to compromise on a repeal deal, Roy Cooper and state Democrats blocked attempts for compromise, feeling that they could use the issue as a campaign tool.

McCrory and the General Assembly threw their hands up. They’d done their part, but liberals wanted compliance, not compromise, so it really was all on them.

Well, now someone is fighting back.

Representative Mark Brody is filing legislation in the North Carolina General Assembly called the Athletic Association Accountability Act.

The bill is aimed at determining if the NCAA and ACC violated their tax-exempt status by using bullying tactics (they did), or “excessive lobbying activities” against the state, in order to pressure the General Assembly to repeal HB2.

In his statement, Brody said:

“I believe the NCAA and the ACC have stepped out of bounds and, to the best of my ability, will never allow the General Assembly to relinquish its legislative authority over the internal affairs of the State or succumb to economic extortion to and from either the NCAA or the ACC.”

BOOM.

I hope this goes all the way.

I don’t know what will come of it. I don’t care. This is just one more way to fight back against the bullies of the left, and they really have it coming.
