(Before It's News)

Lock her up! Lock her up!

Maybe not! Maybe not!

A lot of campaign rhetoric is getting shot down in flames, these days, so this latest shouldn’t come as a huge surprise. For some of us, it’s no surprise, at all.

Judicial Watch, the conservative watchdog group has sought to have the State Department locate and disclose the rest of Hillary Clinton’s emails.

They thought their search was near an end with a new administration in place, especially in light of the fact that Trump spent his time on the campaign trail threatening to lock Hillary up, and even joked (?) that the Russians should find the rest of Hillary’s emails.

On Monday, Judicial Watch got to meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Donald Trump’s State Department threw a wall of protection up around – Hillary Clinton.

At a hearing in Washington on Monday at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the State Department said it will continue to seek a dismissal of Judicial Watch’s case attempting to force them to locate Clinton’s emails.

With Cause of Action also acting as a plaintiff, Judicial Watch is hoping to use a small bit of the Federal Records Act to force the State Department to locate more Clinton emails from her tenure as secretary of state.

They’ve been fighting to get those emails since Obama was in office, with John Kerry getting the case dismissed in 2016 through an Obama appointee, Judge James Boasberg. That was overturned, however, by the Court of Appeals in December.

And now, with things back in court, State Department lawyers under the Trump administration have once again filed for dismissal, hoping that what information has already been released by the FBI would be enough.

“What’s surprising is the Trump Administration is continuing the Obama Administration’s legal strategy to obstruct and defend Hillary Clinton’s email practices,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said after the hearing. “This is an example, in my view, of the ‘deep state’ still running things, in many respects.” The “deep state” can be most broadly defined as the unelected federal bureaucracy.

“This judge, again, wants us to go through the same arguments cycle that didn’t work out for the State Department the first time,” said James Peterson, senior attorney for Judicial Watch. “What is undisputed here is that records still remain out there to be recovered.”

The case will now be dragged out until April 21, when the State Department will once again try to dismiss the case, altogether.

Just let that settle in.

Trump’s State Department does not want conservatives to see Hillary Clinton’s emails.

That cold spot in the pit of your stomach is the creeping sense of having been duped.

Just roll with it. The clarity is quite freeing.

  • You just have to listen to Trumps comments AFTER the election about the Clintons: They are good people and I don’t want to hurt them! That’s all folks, nothing to see here!! Furthermore look at all the appointees Trump has made around him, to his cabinet, advisors and arrangers: 41 Ashkenazy Jews. Lots of them are or were trained , connected to Goldman Sachs. Forget it all hopers. The threat of war with Russia has significantly changed for the better but the heat is turned up in Asia (North Korea, China). The battlefields are being shifted, furthermore things stay the same as they were, unfortunately. The financial wreckage will start in Europe and then spill over to the USA and the rest of the world (don’t forget the massive debt of Japan, 225 % of GDP whilst in Greece it’s “just” 175% of GDP.). One word describes it all :MESS!!
