(Before It's News)

Back in 2013, Ajit Pai sounded the alarm against Barack Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet. Now he’s in a position to do something about it.

Back when Ajit Pai was part of the minority on the Federal Communications Commission, he lamented that he couldn’t share with people the contents of President Obama’s secret plan to regulate the Internet:

But now, Ajit Pai is the chairman of the committee. Finally he can do something about that plan and dismantle it. Says The Hill:

Pai said in the meeting that he wants to undo the reclassification and have industry promise to preserve the so-called open internet voluntarily, according to Reuters and the Wall Street Journal.

So Ajit Pai is going to repeal and replace Net Neutrality. He’s going to get government out of the people’s business, and let the market decide how to operate. The Congress and the President could learn a thing or two from him!
