(Before It's News)
Fellow Conservative,
Congress is voting on a budget at the end of this month. The deadline to pass the bill is April 28.
A small handful of GOP turncoats have teamed up with Democrats to get border wall funding stripped from the legislation.
Trump requested border wall funding in this year’s budget and Paul Ryan has removed the provision from the bill. He is kicking the can down the road to avoid having to fight Democrats.
He’s not alone. Republican Representatives Will Hurd (R-TX) and Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ) are leading the GOP fight to block the wall. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) is also demanding border wall language be struck from the Senate bill, though he famously called for Congress to “finish the danged fence” in one of his 2010 Senate campaign ads…
McCain’s now concerned that a border wall will increase “anti-American sentiment in Mexico.” How utterly pathetic is he?
We have fought years for this wall. We are now on the precipice of actually seeing it built.
President Trump has said that Mexico will pay for the wall. Not up front, but through other taxes and fees. In order to get the project started, however, he needs Congress to fund the first couple hundred miles.
The first new section of border wall is scheduled to go up in Southern California but it needs the funding from Congress.
A minority of liberal Republicans have decided to side with the Democrats and block the wall. Like clockwork, these RINOs are lining up against the will of the people and even worse, they have Paul Ryan’s ear.
Where is the GOP that used to stand on principle? Where is the GOP that would push through a Conservative agenda instead of just cowering to liberals?
Trump is doing his part. He is making good on his promises and systematically dismantling the Obama legacy. If he resigned tomorrow, he would have accomplished more in 80 days than Obama did in eight years.
But he can only do so much on his own. He needs Congress to appropriate the money. And for that to happen, it is up to us to shame these turncoat Republicans into bending the knee!
We have warned you that you cannot trust these turncoat Republicans one bit and we were unfortunately correct. The conspiracy within the GOP to defund the border wall was true.
These spineless Republicans aren’t ideologues. They are politicians. They have decided that they stand more to lose by supporting the wall than they do from opposing it. It is your responsibility – literally your job as a citizen – to convince them otherwise.
The vote is fast approaching. As you read this, Congressional leaders are marking up the budget bill.
Funding for the wall is not in it. It was in it a few days ago, but now it has been removed.
Don’t let these RINOs take away everything we’ve been fighting for!
Sincerely,
Joe Otto
