The American political and economic system is designed by the rich to make themselves richer by extracting economic value directly from the poor. to explain, consider this simple example:pre-2008, the rich made trillions fueled by lax credit policy by banks which boomed the money supply and increased the value of their investments by double digits every year while the poor, who are typically savers and do not have disposable cash to invest in high risk assets, saw their incomes and savings fall in real terms.after 2008, fiscal and monetary policy was geared entirely at bailing out the rich by propping up the value of their high risk investments by printing money and lowering interest rates. the poor, however, saw their meager interest earnings go to zero because of Zero interest rates, lost their jobs or had their salaries cut, and had to start drawing on their savings while the costs of everything went up.
