Preview: Is Your Campsite Secure?
I love relaxing around a campfire. The peace and quiet of the woods and fresh air is hard to beat. Even with all the relaxing attributes of any campground or makeshift campsite, you still need to be vigilant when it comes to your safety and that of those in your group.
There are many different scenarios we could discuss when it comes to security at your campsite. My biggest concern is not animals, but people. While you may come across some questionable individuals on the trails, you have to make sure your campsite is safe while you are relaxing or sleeping under the stars. The sad part is that people with bad intent are everywhere, but don’t let this stop you from having a great time. Being prepared and making the right choices is what you can do to prevent any issues.
With warmer weather just around the corner, folks will be hitting the trails more so we will discuss this topic in more depth in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, we found a video in regards to this topic.
