(Before It's News)

What do you think of when you hear the phrase “Survival Food”, or “Emergency Food Storage”?  Non-prepper type people seem to think that it means boxes full of nasty, powdered food-like substances that they could only choke down to avoid starvation.  Or pouches of flavorless goo that isn’t fit for human consumption.  Guess what?  They couldn’t be more wrong.

Many store bought emergency food supply companies provide very nutritious and good tasting foods.  Just because it may come in a bucket or box doesn’t mean it doesn’t taste good.  It probably won’t look like food that you’re used to, and you may need to reconstitute it with liquid, but many of the foods you’ll find in ready-made long term survival food storage kits really are good to eat, and good for you.

These emergency food storage kits are not the way that everyone preps for SHTF, but they are definitely one of the easiest ways to prepare, especially if you need to get a quick start and haven’t already been prepping for years.

Survival Food KItsSome people complain that these kits are too expensive, and, I agree that when you first check them out, they do seem pricey. But you have to remember that you are buying a lasting supply of food, not just a few meals. For instance, you can buy a 30 day supply of food for one person for about $125. That is a month’s worth of decent, healthy food for $125, and it is already packaged up and ready for storage. How much does it cost you to buy a month’s worth of regular food for one person? And how much more money and labor will it cost to break it down, package it up and get it ready for storage?

Some of the kits even come with emergency cook stoves and fuel, water filtering bottles that will help to filter out harmful substances that may have contaminated your water supply, and, as a bonus you get a nice big bucket that is good for countless uses.  Plus, most of the stuff has a shelf life of 20+ years!

If you still don’t think it’s necessary to get prepared for SHTF, or whatever the future may hold, think about this…many Walmart stores are now stocking survival food kits.  That’s right.  Survival food at Walmart.  It’s not the “weird prepper freaks” thing anymore.  It’s going mainstream, and you don’t get much more mainstream than Walmart.

Survival food is fast becoming a necessity, and if you haven’t started prepping yet these emergency food kits are a fast, easy way to get prepped in a hurry, and the food actually tastes good. This is Food storage made easy. Start today. before it’s too late.

Check out some of the review videos below, you may be surprised at the response that real people are having towards the “Survival in a Bucket” food kits.
