In the photo you have a very well stocked safe or panic room. If you want to survive if it all goes to hell you need to have a room like this for your family to use. Ideally the perfect safe room or panic room has an emergency exit and it has been extra hardened to prevent anyone from getting in. You should be able to take your family and go live in the panic or safe room for six weeks or longer. If possible have a shower, a sink, and a composting toilet. This would really be the ideal situation.
If you live where there are tornadoes or severe thunderstorms then you and your family can use the panic or safe room as a storm shelter. Be sure that your panic or safe room is built to stand up to a strong tornado. You want your family to be able to survive.
Being prepared is very important. The ideal panic or safe room has adequate supplies to last a family of four at least 6 weeks or longer. The walls in your panic or safe room and the ceiling need to be built to stand up to anything. They need to be strong enough to keep your family safe during a tornado or keep out a motorcycle gang. In my safe room I have a small pannel in the rear that I can remove and remove a locked section of wall and create a hidden exit into a hidden space in the garage. I keep extra supplies in that hidden space. And if neccessary you could exit that way and no one would know you were going out. It would be easy to surprise someone trying to get into your safe room that way.
I have two 12 gauge shotguns in my safe room both with 30 shot clips and 3000 rounds of double 00 buck shot for the shot guns. I could use these shotguns close in and keep anyone at bay. They are also ideal guns if you have to go out the emergency exit and take the fight to who ever is trying to get in.
