When Bugging out you want your BOV to run and not breakdown, but in the real world things happen. You could have a coolant leak, the transmission could act up, the AC system could stop working (during summer days), power steering leak, etc. Remember you may be pushing your BOV beyond what was intended, so what extra chemicals should you carry with you?
• Engine Coolant Stop Leak
• Engine Oil Stop Leak
• Transmission Stop Leak/Conditioner
• Differential Conditioner/Stop Leak
• AC Freon with Stop Leak
• Power Steering Fluid Stop Leak
• JB Weld
• Silicone Sealant
• Distilled water (for battery and coolant)
• Tire Sealant
This is a partial list of extra chemicals you should carry with you, and these are only a temporary solution to get you to your destination, the best thing to do would be to repair the issue but there are times when you won’t have the luxury of time, the parts, and the tools (just think of replacing your water-pump when the SHTF) to make the full repair.
