Credit Collection Company, Rapid Recovery Solution Releases Statement Regarding Louisiana’s Government Turning To Debt Collection
Following an article on a Louisiana’s governors plan to use a collection agency to collect owed debts, Rapid Recovery solution releases statement commending the governments realization of an agencies benefits.

On October 21 2012, credit collection company, Rapid Recovery Solution released a statement regarding The Advertiser’s recent article on the revenue department of Louisiana’s plan for debt collection.
According to The Advertiser’s article, Louisiana’s Governor Bobby Jindal’s administration, is outlining a plan to intercept payments the federal government may owe to vendors and contractors in order to boost their debt collection efforts. The article states that, “The department estimates it can collect $11 million more per year in back-owed debts, money that could help fill state budget gaps elsewhere.” According to Jason DeCuir, assistant secretary for the Department of Revenue, "We've done a lot of research and modeling what those states have done, saw the potential and increase in their collections, and it's time to get Louisiana going."
The article states that the revenue department is looking to hire a private company that can match the Louisiana debtors with federal vendors and contractors. And according to DeCuir, “some companies have said they could get such a system running within three to six months after being hired.”
John Monderine, CEO of credit collection agency, Rapid Recovery Solution expressed his excitement towards the governments turning to debt collection, as he realizes the importance and benefits of it. "I love that government is seeing 1st hand how important the debt collection industry is,” said Monderine.
According to the article, “The administration is planning to standardize its collection policies across agencies, centralize some efforts and toughen enforcement by increasing penalties.” Governor Jindal wants to review the states outstanding debts and devise a strategy with the help of an outside advisor.
