Fast Forward Academy is pleased to launch eight new online tax courses to help registered tax preparers obtain required continuing education credits.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) October 21, 2012
Fast Forward Academy already offers a wealth of online tax education courses and professional development opportunities, but today, the company is excited to launch eight new tax courses. These courses will help registered tax preparers achieve required continuing education credits.
Registered tax preparers can sign up for one or more of the new courses, depending on how many continuing education credits are needed before the end-of-the-year deadline. The courses should appeal to anyone working in the tax industry: Estate Tax Planning; Cancellation of Debt Income; Aspiring Authors Need Not Apply: The Correct Approach to Deducting Travel Expenses; Retirement Plans, Pensions and Annuities; Tax Return Preparer Ethical Issues; Tax Treatment of Individual Retirement Arrangement; Tax Treatment of Life Insurance Proceeds and Tax Treatment of Sickness and Injury Plans.
Fast Forward Academy President, Matt McBride, is happy to offer these new online tax courses. “Our goal at Fast Forward Academy is to make tax education not only informative, but interesting. By updating our course content on a continual basis and offering more choices in terms of content, we hope to appeal to those in the tax industry and make it interesting for them to complete their continuing education requirements.”
All tax courses fall under one of the following three categories: Ethics, Federal Tax Law Updates, or Other Federal Tax Law. Tax preparers can purchase courses a la carte based on the number of hours they need to fulfill (individual courses range from 2–6 credit hours). Preparers may also choose from a selection of bundles which combine tax courses to satisfy 5, 10 or 15 hour increments.
New IRS regulations stipulate that registered tax preparers must obtain 15 hours of continued tax education credits by the end of 2012. These hours must consist of 3 hours of federal tax law updates, 2 hours of ethics and 10 hours of other federal tax law.
