(Before It's News)

NCIStudent.net has been providing information about finding the perfect school since 2007. Earlier this year, the site launched a directory of colleges, training programs and schools; now the directory is expanding to include facilities that offer CPR training.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) October 20, 2012

Since 2007, NCIStudent.net has provided students of all ages with advice on everything from good study habits to smart note-taking, to strategies for doing well on multiple-choice exams. Earlier this year, the site re-launched adding an additional element: the inclusion of a state-by-state directory of educational and technical institutions that specialize in medical tech fields like coding, billing, phlebotomy, and x-ray technology, as well as CNA and EMT programs.

Now, that directory is expanding, and offering students the ability to search for local schools and training facilities that offer programs in CPR.

Why CPR? CEO Brian Miller says it's because CPR is such a universal need. "Everyone from babysitters to lifeguards, school nurses, EMTs and even ordinary people can benefit from CPR training. We're making it easier for those who want to acquire this skill to find a training program that fits them."

What kinds of programs are included? CPR training programs are typically available from the Red Cross, at community centers and hospitals, at community colleges and from fire and police stations, and the directory at NCIStudent.net will eventually feature all of those options as the site directors and end users add entries.

To search for a CPR training program, or any other school or college, all a prospective student must do is visit the NCIStudent.net website, and click on their state.

To suggest a school or training program for addition the directory, any user can log onto NCIStudent.net and submit the contact information, including the URL, for their school. A member of the NCIStudent.net staff will review the information, and approve each addition, which will subsequently appear among the listings for the appropriate state.

Known formally as the New College Information Student Network, NCIStudent.net is an online learning center for learners of all ages, whether they are recent high school graduates, people who have recently completed their GEDs, or adults who are seeking career changes, or are re-entering the workforce. The library of articles is available at no cost, and feedback from site visitors is always welcome.
