Lawhorn encourages readers to seek after spiritual perfection, become an asset
Maitland, FL (PRWEB) October 20, 2012
D. Edsuel Lawhorn’s new book, Journey to Perfection ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-62230-866-8; $5.99, e-book, 978-1-62230-867-5) although written in a brief and simplistic form, is meant to be used often as a reference guide in personal Bible study. The author has chosen specific and concise scripture references in order to “aim directly at the heart of the believer.”
“I hope that the reader will have a greater desire to read and study the Bible,” states the author. “This book boldly declares what a Christian’s responsibility to God is and what reward is given to the believer for meeting that responsibility. The point of this book is to help one to come to full growth, maturity and/or perfection in Christ, which is done through a greater understanding of the basic doctrines of the Christian Faith.”
D. Edsuel Lawhorn graduated from Warner Southern College with a Bachelors degree in management and is a Masters graduate at Webster University in the school of business and technology. He has been teaching the Bible at various venues for thirty-five years. He has taken a non-denominational stance in his teaching encouraging the avid Bible student to study foundational Christian beliefs supported primarily by God’s word.
Xulon Press, a division of Salem Communications, is the world’s largest Christian self-publisher, with more than 8,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order Journey to Perfection through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors.
