34% said the price of shipping prevents them from doing more online shopping, according to a CreditDonkey.com survey of more than 1,200 shoppers.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 21, 2012
High shipping costs are a bigger barrier to online shopping than the inability to touch and try products, says a new survey by CreditDonkey.com, a credit card comparison website.
Survey Results: http://www.creditdonkey.com/why-shop-online.html
Highlights:
Consumers are swayed by convenience and price when they do go online to shop rather than visit a store. Just over half (52%) said convenience is the main reason they shop online, 28% said price is their number-one reason, and 13% listed selection.
CreditDonkey.com conducted the online survey of 1,246 shoppers in the U.S., age 18 and over between August 20 and September 2, 2012.
