"These presentations and workshops are the first of their kind and will serve as a basis for the growth and development of a formally trained and educated workforce for international space agencies and private companies like Planetary Resources. There is a very limited pool of trained professionals with real technical knowledge in mineral processing as it relates to mining in space. These workshops will directly address that technical knowledge and training shortage and create competition in the marketplace. "
