Boulder, CO (PRWEB) October 20, 2012
US e-Chromic is pleased to announce that it is one of thirty clean-tech companies selected to present at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) 25th Industry Growth Forum. The forum will take place October 23 – 24, 2012 in Denver, Colorado.
US e-Chromic and the other presenting companies were carefully selected from hundreds of candidates through an extensive application and review process. NREL’s Industry Growth Forum is the nation’s premier event for emerging clean energy and energy efficiency technology startups. At the Forum, companies gain valuable exposure to and feedback from venture capitalists, corporate investors, government agencies, and strategic partners. Since 2003, presenting companies have raised more than $4 billion in growth financing.
“It is an honor for US e-Chromic to present at the NREL Growth Forum,” said Loren Burnett, Chief Executive Officer and founder of US e-Chromic. “This validates both the potential effectiveness of electrochromic thin film in reducing energy demand as well as the unique technologies and features that US e-Chromic delivers. Patented US e-Chromic reflective electrochromic technology makes it possible for retrofit solution providers to quickly and confidently transform existing windows into energy efficient smart windows.”
Burnett will present for US e-Chromic on Wednesday, October 24 as part of an overall agenda that includes company presentations, panel presentations, and networking sessions. US e-Chromic receives advisory support from CleanLaunch, the technology incubator at the Center for Renewable Energy Economic Development at NREL, and through the State Energy Sector Partnership Grant (SESP), awarded through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment to support entrepreneurs leading pre-revenue companies.
