Highly Skilled Pediatrician Serving New York Residents, Boris Ripa, MD, FAAP, Becomes One of The Leading Physicians of the World

Dr. Ripa is a remarkable pediatrician with a well-equipped and supported private pediatric practice, Friendly Pediatrics PC, serving young patients and their families from Brooklyn and surrounding communities in the New York State. He launched his practice in 1997 and in 2009 he joined a second company, All Healthy Style, where he acts as medical director. Dr. Ripa has dedicated his entire life to the provision of high-quality pediatric care to all patients of all backgrounds. He specializes in adolescent medicine, or hebiatrics, which is a medical subspecialty that focuses on care of patients who are in the adolescent period of development, generally ranging from the last years of elementary school until graduation from high school. Dr. Ripa also practices at Kings County Hospital Center and New York Methodist Hospital, both located in Brooklyn, New York. He has articles published in Russia and attributes his success to his always wanting to be a pediatrician and also to his enduring love for what he does. Dr. Ripa is further well-read in Contemporary Pediatrics, the Journal of Pediatrics, the Journal of Infectious Diseases, and the American Academy of Pediatric News. He also embraced the academic side of medicine in his capacity as an Assistant Professor at Pace University and remains involved in local public speaking as well.
Dr. Ripa studied medicine in his native country, Russia, at Stavropol State Medical University. He graduated in 1985 and then went on to pursue his postgraduate training in the United States almost a decade after. He interned and also completed his pediatrics residency at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Ripa is licensed to practice in New York State since 1997 and is certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics since 1998. He is also the recipient of the Most Compassionate Doctor Award from the American Registry was voted Doctor of the Year by the Republican Party and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). In addition to English, he also speaks Russian, which is his native language and which enhances his communication with patients of Russian origin. In his spare time, he is passionate about ping-pong, jogging, fishing, and reading.
