With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Susan L. Vowell, RN, BSN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse featuring forty-seven years of diversified experience and extensive expertise in long-term care, medical mission, and recovery nursing. Susan currently serves patients at Rockwood Retirement Communities, which consist of two unique full-service communities and a senior affordable housing residence in Spokane, Washington
Certified in CCRC and geriatric care, Susan received her Associates Degree of Nursing from Colorado State University and her Bachelors degree of science in nursing from the University of Alaska at Anchorage. In addition to her hands-on work at Rockwood Retirement Communities, Susan is also a local BLS instructor and mentor. She attributes her success to the Lord and also her mother and aunt who were nurses and inspired her. In her spare time, Susan dedicates to camping, fishing, hiking, and gardening.
