With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Julia M. Davila, RN, MSN, CNOR, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse with twenty years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in nursing arrays such as medical/surgical nursing and interventional radiology. Julia is currently serving patients as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, formerly Orlando Regional Sand Lake Hospital, is a full-service medical/surgical facility serving the residents of Southwest Orange County and Orlando’s growing tourist population. Julia is also a preceptor in all areas of her expertise.
Julia attended Florida College of Health Science and received her associate degree of nursing in 1995. In 2008, she earned her bachelor degree of science in nursing at the University of Phoenix, followed by her master degree of science in nursing with a focus on education at Walden University in 2011. Julia remains an active member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses and holds additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. She is a Certified Nurse, Operating Room as well and credits her success to encouragement from family, her ambition, and love of learning and education. She dedicates her spare time to reading, writing, poetry, and swimming.
