With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Robin Diehl, RN, CPAN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a distinguished Registered Nurse with forty years of uniquely diversified experience in the nursing arena and a vast expertise in areas such as perianesthesia nursing. Perianesthesia nursing is a nursing specialty practice area concerned with providing nursing care to patients undergoing or recovering from anesthesia. Robin, who just recently retired in September of 2015, had served patients at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland, Maryland.
Robin studied at Allegany College of Maryland in Cumberland, Maryland, and received her associate degree of arts in nursing in 1975. In addition, she is a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse by the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing. Robin also served on the Committee of Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. She links her success to making a difference in the lives of patients whom she treats and a love for the field. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and painting.
