Maverick physicist James McCanney made an in-studio appearance, sharing his analysis of ancient disasters and civilizations. The great flood of Noah was a global event, reported by cultures around the world. It lasted for around 40 days, when the Earth passed through the tail of a comet, he detailed. There was torrential rain, the sun was blotted out, and ocean levels rose some 600 ft., he continued. He also suggested that Atlantis was in the South China Sea, and Lemuria was near the Hawaiian Islands, both on land masses that became submerged.

Professor James McCanney has taught the following mathematics courses at the University level in addition to Physics, Computer Science and Astronomy; Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra, Matrix Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Statistics for Computing, Mathematical Logic, Theory of Numbers, Calculus I, II and III, Engineering Math I and II, Advanced Topics in Geometry and Topology.

He has worked about half of his lengthy career in private industry. Much of this was
accomplished in multi-lingual settings, having worked in the USA, Latin America and
with high-level Russian scientists. He has presented his research at international
conferences and is a regular presenter at American Geophysical Union meetings. He
has also lectured at Los Alamos National Laboratories, the Air-Space America
International Air show and International Electric Propulsion conferences. Understanding
his background is important in placing his new book into perspective.

Atlantis (in Greek “island of Atlas”) is a legendary island first mentioned
in Plato’s dialogues Timaeus and Critias, written about 360 BC. According to Plato, Atlantis was a naval power lying “in front of the Pillars of Hercules” that conquered many parts of Western Europe and Africa 9,000 years before the time of Solon, or approximately 9600 BC. After a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean “in a single day and night of misfortune”.

Noah’s Ark (Hebrew: תיבת נח‎; Biblical Hebrew: Teyvat Noaḥ) is the vessel in the Genesis flood narrative (Genesis chapters 6–9) by which the Patriarch Noah saves himself, his family, and a remnant of all the world’s animals when God decides to destroy the world because of mankind’s evil deeds. God gives Noah detailed instructions for building the ark: it is to be of gopher wood, smeared inside and out with pitch, with three decks and internal compartments; it will be 300 cubits long, 50 wide, and 30 high; it will have a roof “finished to a cubit upward”, and an entrance on the side.

Lemuria (play /lɨˈmjʊəriə/) is the name of a hypothetical “lost land” variously located in
the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The concept’s 19th century origins lie in attempts to account for discontinuities in biogeography; however, the concept of Lemuria has been rendered obsolete by modern theories of plate tectonics. Although sunken continents do exist — like Zealandia in the Pacific and the Kerguelen Plateau in the Indian Ocean — there is no known geological formation under the Indian or Pacific Oceans that corresponds to the hypothetical Lemuria.

  • Lemuria never existed. It was postulated as piece of land that existed for lemurs to get from one place to another.

Atlantis, if it ever existed, was most likely an ordinary Greek Island.

The biblical account of the Flood is accurate.

Plato describes Atlantis as being the size of Africa and Europe combined, situated beyond the pillars of Hercules, Gibraltar. There is only one landmass that fits the description… The American continent. There was massive coastal land loss at the end of the last ice age c15’000 years ago when the ice melted and flooded all low lying land. It also created a series of floods caused by ice dams backing flood water up and being released in deluges when they broke.

    • Atlantis is thought to be the sunken land under the ocean, or maybe the part of N America’s eastern flank that sank. Though it was called an ISLAND. Only things left are the very tips of the Canary volcanoes whose seismicity sumbermerged it to begin with, along the Atlantic Rift zone. Located in the S China Sea? No way, unless all of the ancients themselves were wrong.
