Millions Deceived by Altered Gospel – a call for discernment

Dear reader, “this is the last hour and as you have heard the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.” 1Jn 2:18

This piece of Scripture was written nearly 2000 years ago. John would not have written this warning if it wasn’t true at that time. Now do you for one moment think that all those antichrists disappeared from the world?

NO, they increased and spread their lies by any means possible, forever changing Scripture to suit their purpose, that being to deceive as many as possible. Thus there now are many Bibles, each differing from the other in subtle ways. On the surface all of them seem to be based on the original Gospel, which was to bring Life and Peace to the world, but only brought more war and death.

Something was drastically wrong way back then already.  And something still is drastically wrong today, since wars continue, divorces, abortions, diseases and drug abuse increase, homosexuality is legalized, idol worship has become the norm and the total destruction of our world is becoming evident.

Satan uses the Bible to deceive those who rely on it.

Those who call themselves Christians rely on the Bible as the only Word of Truth. So the Bible is what Satan uses to deceive those who do not want to follow him. How else would he be able to deceive his enemies into following him?  If he used OT Scripture to try and deceive Christ, the Perfect One, he will use all Scripture to deceive the yet imperfect humans.

The Bible was written by humans, translated by humans and compiled by humans, who are imperfect and susceptible to Satan’s influence. So it was the easiest thing for him to convince those who where yet imperfect, to hide the Truth Christ taught when translating and especially when compiling NT Scripture.

When we today look at the immense fighting that ensued about Christian doctrine and canon after the original disciples and followers of Christ had died, it becomes obvious that those who followed in their footsteps relied solely on their human understanding of delivered teachings. They quickly fell into the same trap as the Jews, following their traditions and the leaders that upheld those, rather than the Word of Christ.

The Responsibility of Believers in the End Time

It is our duty as followers of Christ to differentiate between the real thing and false teachings. We have to make sure we are properly informed, so we can overcome and stand steadfast in our faith until the end. Yes sure, those teachers will receive a heavier sentence in the end for misleading the sheep, but we cannot use that as an excuse for neglecting our duty when we come to stand before the Ultimate Judge. We as believers are called upon to discern the Truth and the Lie, to test the spirits (1Jn 4:1), to test everything (1Th 5:21) and keep the good.

Thus, having this responsibility, I ask you today to look at either one of the following: here or here or here, to see why I say Millions have already deceived by an altered Gospel.

Scripture testifies of Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit of Christ

If you rely solely on Scripture for the Truth, you can easily be deceived, as Scripture can be and was altered by man to suit his traditions. Yet Scripture testifies of the Holy Spirit of Christ, which was given to them who followed His teaching, His Law of which John says: “As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit – just as it has taught you, remain in Him. ” 1Jn 2:27

This anointing is the Teacher of Truth, which we are to follow and trust. This anointing cannot be counterfeited, altered or changed by men, like Scripture. It cannot be taken away from you. It serves to keep you bonded in unity with Christ and the Father and protects you from being deceived by Satan.
