900-Year-Old Prophecy Points To Jesus’ Return?

‘People have a sense that something is kind of unhinged’

Joe Kovacs

Does a nearly 900-year-old non-biblical prophecy hold the key to the timing of Jesus Christ’s return to Earth?

There are many in the Christian world who are now taking a look at the suggestion, based on the number of popes predicted to hold office before the so-called Second Coming.

The fascinating issue is the subject of a brand-new DVD movie titled, “The Last Pope?” based on the book, “Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope Is Here.”

The original prediction came from Malachy, a Catholic saint who lived in Ireland in the 12th century.

His “Prophecy of the Popes” as it has become to be known forecast in the year 1139 that there would be 112 popes from that time until Jesus made His triumphant return to the planet as King of kings.

The sudden and unexpected resignation of Pope Benedict XVI was the spark igniting the new wildfire of speculation due to one simple reason: his successor, Pope Francis, is the end of the line.

“Pope Francis is the 112th pope. He is the final pope in the list,” said Tom Horn, co-author of “Petrus Romanus,” which is Latin for “Peter the Roman.”

Malachy lived on the Emerald Isle during the 1100s and was said to have a heart for the poor, the gift of prophecy and the gift of healing.

He made a personal pilgrimage to Rome, and in 1139, he reportedly had a vision after the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. He wrote a series of 112 lines in Latin to follow Pope Celestine II, who died in 1144. Each line described a future pontiff.

“The thing that makes this very interesting is that the vision of the very last pope involved what most biblical scholars would call ‘the End Times,’ and it seems to forecast the destruction of Rome even,” says Cris Putnam, co-author of the book.

    • During the reign of the last pope, Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman), Christ will make an intermediate visitation to the earth to destroy the reign of Antichrist and his minions, purify the earth of all physical and spiritual contaminants, and install on earth a very lengthy “holy age.”

Peter the Roman will guide the faithful through the reign of Antichrist, who will evict the pope from the Vatican and install a false anti-pope to extol Antichrist’s program of atheism.

Christ will purify the earth with plasma lightning and fire storms during three days of darkness.
During his visitation, Christ will not be visible. At the end of the holy age, Satan will be released from hell for a short time, but then be sent back to hell forever when Christ makes his Second Coming to the earth, at which time the Last Judgment will take place along with the end of time. All this will take place in a split second when people least expect it.

At no time will Christ ever return to the earth in a form of flesh to rule over it for 1.000 years.
The idea of Christ returning to the earth in a physical form is Protestant heresy condemned by the Church Fathers and Doctors.

If Tom Horn’s book doesn’t say what I just said in this post, then it’s not worth reading. What I said is not my opinion. It comes from prophecies given by the Blessed Virgin Mary (the Queen of prophets) at LaSalette and Fatima, and it also comes from the Bible.

  • Jesus has always walked on Earth, there is no return, because he never left. When Jesus was buried, after being crucified, and Mary went to the sepulchre, he was there as a gardner, but Mary didn’t recognize him. Why? Because he changes appearance. Every regeneration of Jesus appears slightly different. The current generation of Jesus is #22, or the Omega.

  • by itself the prophecy of the popes doesn’t bother anyone.

but couple it with Cayce’s last president. Islam’s last or hidden imam / last Mahdi. you start to have end of the world prophecy lining up from across the world in different times, cultures, religions, etc. all point to right now.

It’s way older than 900 years. Try 5’000 years. The story is as old as the hills and has been awarded several names, Jesus being the dark age European version.

    • Everyone on here should watch zeitgeist if they haven’t seen it, it explains a lot at the start about how all religion, even back to the Egyptian worship of the sun are just the same

  • God I hope so. Maybe he could sort out the World GovernMental BS
